Verrea Roland

Funeral Service for Verrea Roalnd, age 91, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Morning Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Spivery officiating. Adrien Roland, Gilbert Roland, Damon Dugan, Sherby Spivey, Kevin Debase, and Clarence Nash will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and nephews. Interment will follow the service at Coffee Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.

Verrea Roland was born on February 16, 1934, in Como, Texas to Garland McQueen and Willie Harris. She married Ervin Ray Roland and to this union, five children were born. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Alonzo Roland (Ping) in Oklahoma, daughter, Goldell Roland of Sulphur Springs; five grandchildren, Crystal, Jason (Rachell), Ervin Ray, Jeanette and Marie; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Verrea was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Roland; daughter Lothesa Pratt; sons, Larry Roland, and Edward Roland; grandson, LaRon Pannell; her siblings, and her parents.
