Robert York Dale

Memorial Service for Robert York Dale, age 86 of Saltillo, Texas will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Robert passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Robert was born on March 30, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri to Cecil and Thelma Dale. He married Linda White on February 16, 1990, in Seven Points, Texas. Robert was a leadman for General Motors for many years, he also was in construction and the owner of the 127 Club in Sulphur Springs, Texas from 1995 to 2019. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Dale of Saltillo, Texas; sons, Robert York Dale II and his wife, Kristie of Yantis, Texas, Ronnie Tapley and his wife, Beth of Waco, Texas, and John Kelley of Josephine, Texas; daughters: Pam Utterback and her husband, Jeff of California, Tina Leone and her husband, Paul of Kansas City, Missouri, Vicky Dickey and her husband, Steve of Paris, Texas, and Glenna Kelley of Paris, Texas, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Thelma Dale, his sister, Wilma Linder and two grandsons, Justin Dale and Brent Wilson.
