Funeral services for Riley Paul Dunahoo age, 82, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Gafford Chapel Church with Rev. Jim Goodwin officiating.  Burial will follow at the Ridgeway Cemetery with Joseph Flemens, Derek Birchfield, Bo Fox, Keith Edwards, Bill Jr. Philips and Philip Don Philips serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12 noon to 1PM. 

Mr. Dunahoo passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Christus Mother Francis Hospital in Sulphur Springs. 

He was born on February 13, 1944, in Commerce, TX, the son of John Murl Dunahoo and Rosa Nell Philips Dunahoo.  He married Beverly Joan Rowland in Cleburne, TX and she survives.   

Mr. Dunahoo received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a retired Certified Public Accountant, having worked for over forty-five years and retiring in 2009.  He enjoyed spending time on his computer sharing scripture.  He and his wife Beverly are members of the Gafford Chapel Church. 

He is survived by his wife Beverly Dunahoo, stepdaughters, Sherilyn Crump of Indiana and Tracy Willard of Michigan.  One brother Bob Ray Dunahoo and wife Julia and daughter Elizabeth of Overland community, one sister Susan Murel Dunahoo Walton of Augusta, South Carolina.  Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
