Michael Dean Lytle

Michael Dean Lytle, of Cumby, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. 

Mike was born in Dallas on February 7, 1957 to Bobby Dean and Ona Mae Lytle. He graduated from Mt. Vernon HS in 1973.  After that, he began his 4o year career as a truck driver. Mike enjoyed playing his guitar, riding motorcycles and fixing vehicles. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dalton Lytle, Terry Stunkard and Kimberly Lytle and his loving wife of 34 years, Vicki Lytle. He is survived by his children, Justin Lytle, Nikki Vaughn and husband, Mitchell, Alan Rivers and his wife, Pepper and Victoria Lytle; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 in Bethel Cemetery in Scroggins, Texas, with Bro. Wayne Darty officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bro. David Burns, PFC Matthew Franks, Zachary Rivers and Mack Jordan.
