Mary Jane Sherman, age 80, of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 5, 1945, to Charles Edward Brennan and Minnie Olive Brake Brennan in Urbana, Ohio. Mary loved to sew, crochet, enjoyed crime documentaries, she was a devout Catholic and adored spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Wilburn and her husband, Chris of Sulphur Springs, Texas; brothers, Dennis Brennan of Las Vegas, Nevada, Patrick Brennan, of Huber Heights, Ohio; sisters, Martha Yvonne “Bonnie” Kerns and her husband, Richard of Urbana, Ohio, and Judith Ann Fitwater of Urbana, Ohio; Sister-in-law’s, Janice Brennan of Michigan City, Indiana, and Roberta “Bobbie” of Urbana, Ohio, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Minnie Brennan, brothers, Charles Edward Brennan “Eddie”, Jr., John Daniel Brennan, Sr., and Thomas Matthew Brennan.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
