Funeral Service for Mary Lawler will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Bart Millsap, Wade Jacobson, Mike Faulkenberry, Larry Wayne Hampton, Mike Jones, and Randy Ripley will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Wright and Bryson Wright. Interment will follow the service at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mary passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Commerce, Texas.
Mary was born on September 7, 1942, the daughter of Ralph and Bessie Elmore in Wood County, Texas. She married Jerry Lawler on September 3, 1976. Mary worked for many years as an Optician. She adored spending time with her family, her dog Ace and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Lawler, son Jason Lawler and his wife, Jamie of Commerce, Texas; daughter-in-law, Regina Strickland of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Grandchildren, Krystal Reed and her husband, Chad of Cooper, Texas, Ashley Smith and her husband, Casey of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Kennady Pryor of Lubbock, Texas; great-grandchildren, Lexie Reed, Logan Wright, Rylie Reed, Bryson Wright, Brooklyn Smith.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Garry Strickland. Mary was loved by many and will be missed.
