Funeral Services for Marva Precillia Johnnson, age 89, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2026, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Chris Spivey officiating and Pastor LaVelle Hendricks as the Eulogist. Marva passed away on March 15, 2026, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by one son, Tarrant Johnson; sisters, Thelma Soders, Geneva Hall; brothers, Genoa Z. Spigner, Jr. (G. Jr.), and Roy Mack Spigner (Chuck).

Leaving to mourn her is her daughter, Sherry Johnson; son, Wyman Johnson; grandchildren, Hurley and Kevin Cork, LaTanya Hawkins, Christy Johnson, Angela Johnson, Marcus Johnson, and a host of great grandchildren. Also mourning her passing is her brother Raymond C. Petty, Sr. (Charles); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Rev. Zach Spigner, Corey Spigner, Marcus Johnson, James Carter, and Roderick Godbolt. Honorary pallbearers will be Treyvon Cork and Todrick Cork.
