Manuel "Manny" Preciado

Funeral Mass for Manuel “Manny” Preciado age, 21, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the St James Catholic Church with Father Victor Hernandez officiating.   Burial will follow at the Sanchez Family Cemetery with Ulises Preciado, Osvaldo Preciado, Yoan Preciado, Carlos Preciado, Jesus Preciado, Ruben Preciado, Andres Preciado and Enrique Sanchez serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with Rosary starting at 7pm. Friends and family can visit from 9am till 9pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

“Manny” was known by his family and friends. He was born in Sulphur Springs, TX on August 18, 2004, the son of Salvador Olmos Preciado and Maria Sanchez Preciado.

Manny was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School class of 2023. He graduated from Lincoln Tech in 2024. He was a machine operator at Ocean Spray, avid motorcycle rider, he enjoyed playing Video Games, hunting and spending family time with all his cousins. Manny was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

He is survived by his parents Salvador and Maria Preciado, brother Ulises Preciado and sister-in-law Saray and niece Layla Preciado all of Sulphur Springs. Paternal grandmother Flora Olmos of Como,  Paternal Aunts and Uncles; Guadalupe Preciado, Juan Preciado, Maria Gutierrez, Ruben Preciado, Theresa Preciado.  Maternal Aunts and Uncles; Basilia Romero, Angela Zarco, Jacoba Gutierrez, Raquel Gutierrez, Emelda Sanchez, Rosalio Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Gerardo Sanchez, Heriberto Sanchez, Felipe Sanchez, Juan Sanchez and Leo Sanchez. Numerous Cousins.

He was Preceded in death by his Paternal grandfather Salvador Preciado and by his maternal grandparents Leobardo and Celerina Sanchez and Uncle Javier Sanchez. 

La misa funeral de Manuel "Manny" Preciado, de 21 años, de Sulphur Springs, se celebrará a las 11:00 de la mañana del jueves 23 de julio de 2026 en la iglesia católica de St James, con el Padre Victor Hernandez oficiando.   El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Familiar Sánchez con Ulises Preciado, Osvaldo Preciado, Yoan Preciado, Carlos Preciado, Jesús Preciado, Rubén Preciado, Andrés Preciado y Enrique Sánchez como portadores del féretro. 

La visita se celebrará de 6:00 pm a 9:00 pm horas el miércoles 22 de julio de 2026, con el Rosario comenzando a las 7:00 pm. Amigos y familiares pueden visitar desde las 9:00 am hasta las 9:00 pm horas del miércoles en la funeraria.

"Manny", como le conocían su familia y amigos, nació en Sulphur Springs, Tx, el 18 de agosto de 2004, hijo de Salvador Olmos Preciado y María Sánchez Preciado.

Manny fue graduado el 2023 de la preparatoria de Sulphur Springs. Graduado del colegio Lincoln Tech 2024. Era operador de máquina en Ocean Spray, apasionado de motocicletas, disfrutaba jugando a videojuegos, cazando y pasando tiempo en familia con todos sus primos.  Manny era miembro de la iglesia católica de St. James.

Le sobreviven sus padres Salvador y María Preciado, su hermano Ulises Preciado, su cuñada Saray y su sobrina Layla Preciado, todos ellos de Sulphur Springs. Abuela paterna Flora Olmos de Como, tías y tíos paternos; Guadalupe Preciado, Juan Preciado, María Gutiérrez, Rubén Preciado, Theresa Preciado. tías y tíos maternos; Basilia Romero, Angela Zarco, Jacoba Gutierrez, Raquel Gutierrez, Emelda Sanchez, Rosalio Sánchez, José Sánchez, Gerardo Sánchez, Heriberto Sánchez, Felipe Sánchez, Juan Sánchez y Leó Sánchez.   Numerosos primos.

Le precedieron en la muerte su abuelo paterno Salvador Preciado, sus abuelos maternos Leobardo y Celerina Sánchez y su tío Javier Sánchez.
