Funeral Services for Kenneth Paul Smith, age 85, of Brashear, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Burns officiating. Barry Smith, Clay Smith, Canyon Smith, Aaron Smith, Kanen Smith, and Blake Smith will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Phillips, Bart Millsap, Randy Millsap, Patrick Dial and Jay Gaston. There will be a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, also at West Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby, Texas. Kenneth passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 7, 2024

Kenneth was born on October 21, 1939, to Melvin and Theodosia Smith in the Seymore Community in Hopkins County, Texas. He married the love of his life, Mary Millsap on August 2, 1958, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Kenneth worked for many years as a feed mill manager for Farmer’s COOP in Greenville and Sulphur Springs, he also owned Cumby Feed. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Smith, children, Barry Smith and wife Julie, Paula Cummings and husband, John, Leslie Frobish and husband, Mike, Blake Smith and Marianne, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one sister, Shirley Watts as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lorita Daugherty.
