Joe Luis Soto, Jr.

Funeral services for Joe Luis Soto, Jr., age 41 of Como, TX will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Jaime Torres officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, October 20, 2023 at West Oaks Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Jesus Soto, Ethan Soto, Mauricio Zaldivar, Sammy Zaldivar, Mizael Romero, Joseph Covarrubias serving as pallbearers.  Joe passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023.  Joe was born in Mt. Pleasant, TX, the son of Jose Luis Soto, Sr and Cleotilde Zaldivar Soto.  Joe worked as a pipefitter and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.  Joe is survived by his mother, son, Ethan Soto, daughters, Emily Soto and Chloe Soto, brother, Jesus Soto and wife Patricia, sisters, Guadalupe Beles and husband Raul and Marivel Buenrostro and husband Guillermo, nieces and nephews, Bianca Covarrubias, Anabell Hurtado, Cristina Escobar, Kassandra Beles, Marc Anthony Buenrostro, Christian Buenrostro, Jared Buenrostro and Daniel Soto, seven great nieces and nephews. Eight uncles and three aunts on the maternal side and 4 uncles and 6 aunts on the paternal side, also survived by maternal grandmother, Isabel Zaldivar.  He was preceded in death by his father and paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.  Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
