Joe Marion Reeves

Joe Marion Reeves, 72, of Sulphur Springs, TX, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at his home. He was born on March 19, 1954, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Joe was a proud Scotsman known for his boundless compassion. He was a vital figure in the American honeybee hauling industry, maintaining a 100% relocation record as a specialist—work that was essential for pollination and the national food supply.

He is survived by his brother, Tony Reeves, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Reeves; his brother, Billy Reeves; his mother, Geraldine Garrett Goates; and his sister, Jerri Ann Reeves Howard. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in his legacy of kindness and his "can-do" attitude. He will be deeply loved and forever missed.
