James "Jimmy" Arthur Hale

Graveside services for James “Jimmy” Arthur Hale, age 86, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Brashear Cemetery with Bro. David Burns officiating. The grandchildren will be serving as honorary pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation. Jimmy passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. He was born on June 14, 1934 in Hopkins County, the son of O.V. Hale Sr and Lula Mae Pinkham Hale. He served in the United States Army and later worked as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by son, Cori Hale and wife Deana of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Christi Singleton of Sulphur Springs, Cadi Collins and husband Eric of Rusk, and grandchildren, Riley Collins, Chase Collins, Tatum Collins, Faith Singleton, Matthew Singleton, Micah Singleton, Abbigail Hale and Kolson Hale. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, brother, O.V. Hale Jr, and sisters, Bobbie “Sissy” Courson, Nona Ruth Toles, and Joyce Hale.
