Graveside services for Gregory Andrew Woods, age 47, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Hawkins Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Wheat officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Woods, Grant Woods, Ernest Boyd, Robert Woods, Chris Betts, Shane Creech, and Rusty Farrar. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Greg passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. He was born on September 21, 1973, the son of Rebecca Ellison Woods and Ray “Porter” Woods. He was a member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs. He was active in the Day Hab of Sulphur Springs and My Bowl special bowling team. Greg is survived by his mother, Rebecca Woods, brother, Jackie and wife Stephanie Dobbs Woods and their children, Garrett and Grant Woods all of Mineola, brother, Travis Woods and his daughter Adelyn Woods both of Winnsboro, as well as many other family and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Woods. Memorials may be made to Lake Highlands Baptist Church, 1500 College St., Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.
