Frank Logan Pitts

Memorial Service for Frank Logan Pitts, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Frank Pitts, Jr. officiating. Mr. Pitts passed away on December 3, 2025, in Winnsboro, Texas.

Frank was born on February 28, 1941, to Logan Pitts and Hazel Faye Stokes in Hopkins County, Texas. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Westbrook Trucking. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his four sons, Frank Pitts, Jr., Jimmy Cork, Kenneth Cork (Sandra), Ernie Cork (Glenda), and Phillip Cork (Bertha Rae): sisters, Bertha Williams, Mynder Lee Nash, Carrie Harper, Maryann Crosby (Henry), and Ruth Lindley (Tommy), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Logan Pitts, and Hazel Faye Stokes Pitts; his loving wife, Mabel Pitts; three sons, Charles Means, Michael Cork, and Randy Cork; brothers, Logan Pitts, Jr., John Bowser, and Sam Brown; sisters, Vivian Moulden and Gene Johnson and three grandchildren, Kevin Cork, Jerome Cork, and Sharon Cork.
