Erma Jean Harwell

Graveside services for Erma Jean Harwell, age 87, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2020 at Miller Grove Cemetery with Bro. David Burns officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Erma passed away on September 30, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was born on April 13, 1933 in Appleton City, MO, the daughter of Carrel Newton Davis and Elsie Marie Diehl Davis. She worked in quality control for Western Electric for many years. She loved to do gardening, landscaping, and anything that required a green thumb. She loved to quilt and crochet. Wood carving was also one of her many talents. Erma was a member of Brashear Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Steve Culbertson and wife Karen of Miller Grove, daughter, Cindy Miller and husband Robert of Lake Jackson, and granddaughters, Blanca and Annalisa Culbertson of Miller Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, and two children, Bobby Dean and Sandra Lea Culbertson. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
