Obituary

Emma Jane Addicks, age 16, of Yantis was born on February 10, 2006 in Plano, Texas, the daughter of Michael Wayne Addicks and Brandy Lea Daggs Addicks. Emma passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 in Wood County.  Emma was a 9th grade student of Yantis ISD.  She loved drawing and painting and enjoyed listening to music which included old rock and alternative music. She was really good at special affects makeup.  She adored her sweet dog Scooter and her bearded dragon Marmalade.  She is survived by her brother, Chance Addicks and fiance Thea Patterson, sisters, Makayla Addicks and Izabella Cagle, grandmother’s, Linda Daggs and Linda Addicks, cousins, Shaelynn, Roxie, Serena, Ryder, Alyssa and Braelyn, nephew, Cassius, uncles, Jacob Daggs and wife Misty. She was preceded in death by her parents, uncles, Mathew Daggs and Joshua Daggs.
