Funeral services for Elias Marroquin, JR, age 76, of Sulphur Springs will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mario Perez officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Marroquin passed away on February 11, 2022 at Medical City Dallas. Elias was born in San Benito, Texas, the son of Elias Marroquin and Enedina Peña Marroquin on January 21, 1946. He married Deonicia Marroquin Lopez on August 8, 1976 in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon. Elias was a Rancher, a real old fashion Texas cowboy. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter, Alejandra Marroquin Leon and husband, Sergio Leon, Sons, Gonzalo Marroquin and wife Crystal Marroquin, Martin Marroquin and wife Brenda Marroquin, and Jorge Marroquin, grandchildren, Hunter Marroquin, Logan Marroquin, Rubi Marroquin, Landon Marroquin, Perla Marroquin, Ricky Marroquin, and Easton Marroquin, and his beloved dog companion Muñeca, 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
