Elexia Diane Underwood

Graveside services for Elexia Diane Underwood will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Weaver Cemetery with Pastor Clint Stephens officiating. Chad Underwood, John Morris, Jeff English, Sean English, Adam English, and Craig English will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Elexia passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Elexia was born on September 30, 1953, to Robert and Florence English in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She graduated from Saltillo High School and married Fred Underwood, Jr., on June 2, 1972, in Weaver, Texas, he precedes her in death. Together they attended Saltillo Baptist Church for many years. Elexia was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who called her MiMi.

She is survived by her son, Chad Underwood and his wife, Stefani; daughters, Amy Kirkwood and Marci Underwood; brother, Jeff English and his wife, Jerry; grandchildren, Jordan, John, Ava, Mya, Taylor, Evan, Megan, Skyler, and Braelyn, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Elexia is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Underwood, Jr., her parents, and brothers, Wayne English, Larry English, and Lee English.
