Deloras Ruth Ritz

Deloras Ruth Ritz passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Deloras was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on November 14, 1946 to Wallace and Opal (Pryor) Young. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1965. Deloras married Kenneth Ritz on July 7, 1977. She worked in the dietary department at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital for many years and later with a private caterer before retiring.

Deloras was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Young; her grandmother, Vada Pryor; sister, Patricia Boyd; brother, James Young; and daughter Rebecca Kugler.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Kenneth Ritz; her mother, Opal Young, children, Christopher Young, Myshoni Crook (Lawson), Robbin Vaughn (Bryan) Kenneth Ritz Jr. (Carolyn), Stuart Ritz (Karen), and Lucy Ritz. Also mourning her passing are her siblings, Sandra Scott, Janice Murray (Homer), Wanda Scurlark (Edward), Gerald Young (Paula), Barbara Hawkins (Herbert), Ricky Young (Tina), Creshel Bishop (Antoine), Felecia Young, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and friends.
