Debbie Kay Deaton

Debbie Kay Deaton, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Tyler, Texas due to complications from surgery, she was 63 years old.

Debbie’s kind heart and radiant spirit left an incredible mark on all who knew her. Born on October 26, 1961, to Doil Deaton and Dorothy Sartin in Dallas, Texas. She lived a life devoted to her family and friends. Her smile would light up a room. Known for her warmth and compassion, she brought love and comfort to those around her.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Rutledge and granddaughter, Heavenly Rutledge of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Flo Beth Pittsley and Tommi Daugherty of Sulphur Springs, husband to be, Don Crouse and beloved pet “Maggie Mae”.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister, Brenda Lacy, and one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Paige Jarrett.

Debbie’s memory will live on in all the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her love and her legacy.

A Celebration of Life for Debbie will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Yantis Community Center on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Bring a covered dish if you wish.
