David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and friends. He had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson, fishing, and watching NASCAR—simple pleasures that brought him happiness throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelly Tubb of Odessa, Texas; his children: Jennifer Tubb of Tucson, Arizona; Amanda Morgan and her husband, Todd, of Camarillo, California; Brittanie Wallace of Odessa, Texas; Kara Miller and her husband, Mason, of Groom, Texas; and Kyle Frank of Nevada City, California; his brother, Scott Tubb, and his wife, Brenda, of Dike, Texas; and his nephews, Jeremy Tubb and Jason Tubb. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Blaise Williams, Logan Morgan, Colleen Sherbo, and Afton Poage, who brought him immense pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Betty Tubb; his sister, Andrea; and his first wife, Stephanie Tubb, with whom he shared many years—now reunited in peace.
David will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of family, and the special way he made those around him feel. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held on May 16 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Dike Community Center. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories and honor his life.
In lieu of flowers a special account has been set up at City National Bank for David and Shelly Tubb to help with his medical expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
