Danny Eugene Carper, age 70, passed away on April 12, 2026. He was born on July 5, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas.
Danny was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather (poppy), who lived his life grounded in faith, family, and friendship. He married the love of his life, Debbie, on January 17, 1981, and together they shared 45 years of love, loyalty, and unwavering commitment.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Carper; his children, Jeff Carper and wife Tasha, and Casey Simpler and husband Carey; and his cherished grandchildren, Jace Covington, Kinsler Carper, Kylan Garrett, and Cayden Simpler, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Danny dedicated 40 years to the oil and gas industry, where he was respected for his hard work, knowledge, and integrity. He was known as a man who could talk to anyone. He never met a stranger and always left people better than he found them.
He was kind, loving, compassionate, and selfless. The most dignified man to those who knew him best. Danny lived by simple but powerful values: God first, family always, and friends no matter what. He had a servant’s heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
An outdoorsman through and through, Danny loved hunting, fishing, and taxidermy. He was tough, always prepared, and someone others leaned on for strength. Yet, his greatest strength was his love, he made sure to tell the people in his life that he loved them every chance he got.
Danny leaves behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and deep, unwavering love. Though he will be greatly missed, his presence will forever be felt in the lives he touched and the family he built.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
