Clemente Resendiz

Funeral Services for Clemente Resendiz, age 69, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Rev. Francisco Carreon officiating. Jaime Resendiz, Jeremy Resendiz, Daniel Villegas, Andrew Resendiz, Jovany Lopez, and Octavio Resendiz will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow the service at Shooks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Clemente passed away on November 16, 2025, in Tyler, Texas.

Clemente was born on November 21, 1955, to Vicente Resendiz and Balbina Olguin in Noxthey Tasquillo Hidalgo, Mexico. He worked for Clayton Homes for over 23 years. Clemente was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening, outdoor hobbies and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by loving wife, Cristina Resendiz; son, Jaime Resendiz and his wife, Myrna; daughters, Veronica Lopez and her husband, Jovany, and Marisela Resendiz and her husband, Daniel Villegas; brothers, Esteban Resendiz, Domingo Resendiz, and Joel Resendiz; sisters, Marcelina Herrera, Efigenia Resendiz, Greygoria Resendiz, Alicia Resendiz, and Juana Resendiz; grandchildren, Jeremy Resendiz, Andrew Resendiz, Kaylie Resendiz, Victoria Villegas, Jaime Resendiz, Kelsey Resendiz, Elena Lopez, and Olivia Lopez as well as a host of loving relatives and friends.

Clemente is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Felisa Resendiz.

El funeral de Clemente Resendiz, de 69 años, se llevará a cabo el sábado 22 de noviembre de 2025 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Primera Iglesia Bautista, oficiado por el Padre Francisco Carreon. Jaime Resendiz, Jeremy Resendiz, Daniel Villegas, Andrew Resendiz, Jovany Lopez y Octavio Resendiz serán los portadores del ataud. El sepelio tendrá lugar a continuación en el cementerio Shooks Chapel. El velorio se realizará el jueves 20 de noviembre de 2025 de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la funeraria West Oaks. Clemente era un apasionado pescador, disfrutaba de la jardinería y las actividades al aire libre, y le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus nietos.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Cristina Resendiz; su hijo, Jaime Resendiz y su esposa, Myrna; sus hijas, Verónica López y su esposo, Jovany, y Marisela Resendiz y su esposo, Daniel Villegas; sus hermanos, Esteban Resendiz, Domingo Resendiz y Joel Resendiz; sus hermanas, Marcelina Herrera, Efigenia Resendiz, Greygoria Resendiz, Alicia Resendiz y Juana Resendiz; sus nietos, Jeremy Resendiz, Andrew Resendiz, Kaylie Resendiz, Victoria Villegas, Jaime Resendiz, Kelsey Resendiz, Elena López y Olivia López, así como numerosos familiares y amigos.

A Clemente le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermana, Felisa Resendiz.
