Beverly Ann (Rowell) Morgan

Funeral services for Beverly Ann Rowell Morgan, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Lantz officiating and Rev. Jason Dietze assisting. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Dan Noteware, David Graves, Dr Paul Bennett, Roy McGahee, Cody Wright, and Chad Cable serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Osborn, Ene Ashcroft, Brad Johnson, Frank Long, Scott Keys, Dr Bill Dietze, David Holt, Jimmy Jones, T.C. Hamilton, and Dan Cummings. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., prior to service time.  Beverly passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. She was born on August 13, 1949, in Seminole, OK, the daughter of Otis and Fern Muse Rowell.  She married Phil Morgan on July 8, 1989, in Sulphur Springs. Together they owned Morgan Insurance Company where she worked as an insurance agent.  Prior to that, she worked for Southwest Airlines as an event planner and in cash management.  She also worked for Aviation Insurance of America as a corporate planner.  Beverly was a member of First United Methodist Church where she participated in Stephen's Ministry.  She also participated in CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) helping displaced children.  She is survived by husband, Phil Morgan of Sulphur Springs, and children, Sara Ellis Morgan (Jesse Donald Blumenthal) of Austin, Andrew Philip Morgan (Atalie Rae Price Morgan) of Royce City, and Whitney Ellis Morgan of Austin, brothers, Michael Rowell (Donna), Anthony Rowell, Jon Rowell (Sandra), Mansel Rowell, and grandchildren, Andrea Rae Morgan, and Ellis James "E.J." Morgan on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Rowell.  Beverly's family would like to thank Dr. Laura Kosub, Choice Hospice, and Kathy Magee for their care of Beverly.
