Barbara Jean (Moses) Niedzielski

Barbara Jean Moses Niedzielski passed away on October 26, 2020 at her home in Brashear. She was born on October 20, 1942 in Oakland, California, the daughter of Arley James Moses and Lula Marie Cox Moses. She married Alphonse Niedzielski on October 21, 1972 in Reno, Nevada. She was a graduate of Castro Valley High School. Barbara worked in retail for many years. She was active in Niles Merchant Association in California, coordinating multiple parades and car shows as well as volunteering at the VA hospital in Livermore, CA. She was also very proud of her Cherokee Heritage and a lifelong Oakland Raiders fan. She is survived by daughters, Janice Bobay and husband Daniel, Lorri Duncan both of Brashear, step-son, Robert Niedzielski and wife Jeri of Moriarty, NM, step-daughters, Janice Niedzielski of Concord, CA, Debbie Climer of Union City, CA, many grandchildren including Brian Watson, Kyle Bobay, Joshua Bobay, great-grandson, Colton Watson, and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorial services will be held at a later date in California.
