Barbara Juanita Dunavin

Graveside service for Barbara Juanita Dunavin, age 76, of Mesquite, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Seymore Cemetery with Milton Spears officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Barbara passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born on September 24, 1944 in Como, TX, the daughter of Hardy and Elizabeth Carpenter. She retired from Banking. She married Stanley Dunavin in 1962 and he preceded her in death in 1981. Barbara is survived by son, Brian Dunavin of Mesquite, grandchildren, Jason and Aaron Dunavin, and half-brother, Nathan Luther Creamer. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bruce Dunavin, brothers, Hardy Carpenter, Jr., Harlan Carpenter, sister, Audry Carpenter Jacks, and half-brother, George David Creamer.
