Agnes Marie (Ardis) Chapman

Graveside services for Agnes Marie Ardis Chapman, age 94, of McKinney, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Bro. Chad Womack officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at West Oaks Funeral Home, prior to the service. Agnes passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 11, 1925 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Oscar Grady and Lura Higdon Ardis. She married Murray Chapman on September 23, 1944 in San Antonio, TX. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of DAR. She is survived by children, John Chapman of Lake Kiowa, TX, Cathy Ford of Allen, TX, Mike Chapman of Laguna Niguel, CA, Carol Johnson of Broomfield, CO, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
