Roy Dean Dunn, Sr.

Graveside services for Roy Dean Dunn, Sr., age 56, of Point, TX, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Clifton Cemetery with Rev. Mark Garrett officiating.  Pallbearers will be Roy Dunn, Jr., James Rogers, Hunter Reppond, James Carter, Garrett Rogers and Rick Garmon.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Anders, Wade Eppars and Randall Wright.  There will be no formal visitation.  Roy passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 at his residence.  Roy was born on September 9, 1963 in Odessa, TX, the son of Orville Kennith Dunn, Sr., and Venettie Walker. Roy was a mechanic who loved restoring guns, riding motorcycles and woodworking.  Roy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lori Hall, sons, James Rogers and wife Mindy of Winnsboro, Roy Dunn, Jr. and wife Callie of Mt. Vernon, Ryan Claxton and wife Amanda of Cumby, daughters, Christi Rogers of Rowlett, Bonnie Rogers of Mt. Pleasant, Lori Johnson of Mt. Vernon, Kelli Claxton of Point and Ashley Reppond  and husband Hunter of Cumby, brother, David Allan Walker and wife Sara of Terrell, sisters Cathy Carey and husband Wayne of Brownwood and Larissa Chaney, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and the parents who raised him, Ben and Mary Ann Walker, brothers, Jimmy Walker and Orville Kennith Dunn, Jr., sister, Pauline Dunn.  Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
