G. V. has a strong background in community involvement including President of Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce, Predident of the Kiwanas Club, Chairman of the Sulphur Springs Library Building Committee, Chairman of the Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Board and active member of the First United Methodist Church of Sulphur Springs.
