Funeral services for James G. Moseley, age 81, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery with Sean Willingham, Scott Fouse and Timothy Pike serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Pike and the Sunday School Class of New Shirley Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Moseley passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Mr. Moseley was born on April 29, 1928 in Cartwright, TX, the son of Garmen Marion and Thelma Jewel (Turner) Moseley. He married Ruby McWilliams on May 28, 1949 in Brashear. She survives. Mr. Moseley worked as a machinist for Rockwell before he retired in 1992. He was also a member of New Shirley Baptist Church. Mr. Moseley is survived by one son, James Barry Moseley of Sulphur Springs, three daughters, Joy Willingham and husband Donnie of Brashear, Janet Lynn Fouse and husband Royce of Brashear, Jeanna Cooper and husband Randy of Quinlan, one half-brother, Orbin Elledge, Jr. and wife Lillian of Red Oak, five grandchildren, Sean Willingham and wife Becky, Scott Fouse, Jennifer Pike and husband Timothy, Crystal Cooper and Cheyenne Cooper, great-grandchildren, Mirhanda Cooper and Jacob Pike. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to the New Shirley Baptist Church, 1620 Arbala Rd, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482.
