Memorial services for Donny Alfred Hurst, age 38, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Shannon Oaks Church with Rev. Mike McNaire officiating. Donny passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 25, 1971 in New Orleans, LA, the son of Alfredo Hurst and Mary Ann (Ward) Hurst. He married Kimberly Davidson on June 21, 2009 in Sulphur Springs. She survives. Donny worked as a mechanic and was a member of Shannon Oaks Church. Other survivors include his parents, Alfredo Hurst of Eugene, OR, mother, Mary Ann Hurst of Glen Heights, TX, sons, Justin Tredway and David Tredway both of Sulphur Springs; one daughter, Amanda Parmer and husband Justin of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Freddy Hurst of Glen Heights, TX, Chase Hurst of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Lana Warren and husband James of Purdon, TX, Belinda Czerwieski and husband Kevin of Grand Prairie, TX, Destini Hurst of Eugene, OR; one niece Chasity Warren; three nephews, Nicholas Warren, Jaydon Hinsley, and Gavin Czerwieski; grandmother Martha Hurst. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Evelyn Spears. Donny will be missed by his family and the many friends he leaves behind. He never met a stranger.
